Harvey Campbell, Executive Director, Lake City/Columbia County Tourist Development Council, Lake City, FL

For 21 years, Harvey has served as the Executive Director of the Lake City/Columbia County Tourist Development Council (TDC). In 2008, his office secured sponsorships and media for 42 events and 26 sports tournaments, including Olustee Battle Festival, the nation's second largest annual Civil War Re-enactment. His office is also responsible for the production of Lake City’s July 4th fireworks celebration and all holiday events. Within VISIT FLORIDA, Harvey served as Chair of the Rural Tourism Committee, Marketing Chair of the 14-county Original Florida Task Force, and Finance Committee Chair. He is the current Chair of the Promotions Committee and also serves on the Marketing Steering Committee. Harvey also served as Chair of the Florida Association of Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and currently serves as Treasurer of the Florida Festivals and Events Association.
