Sandy Price, Executive Director, Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival, Inc., Fernandina Beach, FLSandy Price has been a volunteer for the Isle of Eight Flags Shrimp Festival in Fernandina Beach, Florida since 1991. She has served the festival as secretary, treasurer, committee director and Festival Chairman and in 2000, she accepted the role of Executive Director. A native Texan, Sandy and her husband, John, have two adult daughters: Shannon and Christy. Sandy also volunteers with the Amelia Sunrise Rotary Club, Stars & Stripes Freedom Festival, Shiny Badges, Inc., Amelia Community Theatre, Historic Fernandina Business Association, and other community events, plus serves as a consultant to local civic groups for their special events. Her husband wishes she would get a real, paying job!
