Dr. Althea Pemsel, Procurement Official, City of West Palm Beach, Miami Beach, FL

In addition to her position as Procurement Officer for the City of West Palm Beach, Althea has done numerous presentations and white papers on organizational change and personnel. Within each of the positions held, she has implemented strategic and process improvement initiatives that saved entities millions dollars in short periods of time. Prior to employment with the City of West Palm Beach, Althea was a Contracting Officer overseas. She currently serves on the ISM Diversity Committee and served as Vice President of an ISM-Central Florida and as a Chamber of Commerce Leadership board member for several years. Althea’s B.A. and M.A. are both in Psychology/Counseling with a minor in Business. Her most recent accomplishment is the Jefferson Award for Community Service.
