Amy Tancig, Executive Director, Miami Design Preservation League | Art Deco Weekend

Ms. Tancig holds a Masters Degree in Nonprofit management from Florida Atlantic University and she has worked with Miami Design Preservation League and the Art Deco Weekend Festival for more than five years. She excels in creative collaborative partnerships with government agencies, nonprofits organization, and private businesses, she has also overseen the implementation of profitable fundraising and sponsorship programs. Her affiliation with community businesses and leaders through various professional organizations continues to assist Miami Design Preservation League in its mission of preserving, promoting and protecting the Miami Beach Art Deco District. Under her leadership, Art Deco Weekend has expanded collaborations to include: additional artistic and performance programming with other local cultural outlets; initiated an annual commemorative poster design contest and scholarship benefitting local college and university design students; increased funding from public and private sources; and activated alternate marketing & branding platforms that have aided in increased festival attendance.
