Upright Public Relations specializes in developing strategic communications plans for non-profit organizations, creating and executing special events and social/media relations. Since its inception in 2008, UPR has worked with numerous North Florida organizations including Mike Peterson Foundation, Drayton Florence Foundation, Micah's Place, Jamaal Fudge Foundation, Child Guidance Center, One Ocean Resort Hotel & Spa, 927 Events and Jacksonville's Museum of Contemporary Art. Founder Bonnie Upright has more than 16 years experience in the North Florida community, including previously serving as executive director of the Otis Smith Kids Foundation. Responsibilities included strategic direction, fundraising, board management, community/public relations and special event management. During her tenure with OSKF, Upright successfully led numerous fundraising initiatives, including Sea Cows for Kids and Big Cats for Kids, which generated more than $500,000 for the Foundation’s programs.
