Brian Hill, Executive Director - Atlanta Dogwood Festival, Festival Director – Dunwoody Music Festival, Owner – Oktober Productions

Brian Hill has been in the festival industry for over 30 years on an international level. He started in the industry in Germany where he created the “Halloween Fest” at the original Frankenstein Castle. He developed it into Europe’s largest Halloween event now in its 34th year. It received a “best of…rating” second only to Oktoberfest. For his efforts Brian was featured in “Time Magazine,” had numerous appearances on “ABC Good Morning America” and on media from Japan to Sweden for bringing Halloween to Germany. Brian also created and produced the “MTV Alternate Games” for the ’92 Olympic Games in Barcelona. He then followed the games to Atlanta. He served as the Assistant General Manager of Centennial Olympic Park for 10 years before founding Oktober Enterprises. He is currently the executive director of Atlanta’s largest festival which in 2011 attracted over a quarter of a million people in three days. Brian’s other current projects include developing the Dunwoody Music Festival and producing a TV special for NBC saluting the service of our military on Veteran’s day.
