Mary Register, Volunteer Services Consultant, Governor’s Commission on Volunteerism and Community Service

Mary works statewide with existing volunteer centers and emerging centers to help strengthen volunteerism and community service in Florida, and serves as the Manager of the Florida Volunteer and Donations Hotline. Mary’s experience in non-profit and volunteer management includes working with local businesses during three United Way campaigns with United Way of the Big Bend. She was the Community Resource Manager for Big Bend Hospice; and has served on the Boards of several non-profit organizations. She is a life-long volunteer, fund raiser and community organizer. Mary has conducted numerous workshops and trainings on topics ranging from diversity appreciation, volunteer management and trends and marketing.
